Job summary

You will join Young Founders School in New York as a Chief of Staff, reporting to the Heads of School and building the program’s operations. You will own hiring, admissions, travel, facilities, and communications, driving efficiency and scalable processes.

This role is for an AI-forward operator who thrives in ambiguity and growth, with a clear path toward senior operations leadership and COO responsibilities as the program scales to 1,000 students across multiple cities.

• You are exceptionally detail-oriented and proactive.
• You communicate clearly in writing and in person and you can represent the program to families, vendors, and partners.
• You are AI-forward and use AI tools daily to do more with less.
• You are energized by ambiguity and growth and want a senior ops/COO track.

Responsibilities

• Be the right hand to Nat and Cameron—anticipate needs, take work off their plates, and prevent anything from slipping across hiring, admissions, school programming, travel, facilities, and communications.
• Drive the hiring pipeline: post roles, coordinate with recruiters, schedule interviews, keep trackers current, flag slips in follow-ups.
• Support admissions operations: maintain pipeline/CRM, coordinate scheduling with families, ensure prospective families stay engaged.
• Own travel and logistics for the team, and the facilities and vendor details for the NYC campus.
• Draft and send internal updates, family logistics, and partner/vendor communications in the team’s voice.
• Build lightweight systems and processes as the program scales, and leverage AI to do more with less.
