Merck is seeking a senior field-based medical leader to recruit, onboard, train, and manage a geographically dispersed team across oncology disease areas. You will drive performance, coach colleagues, and ensure execution of disease state support plans.

You will ensure compliance with FDA, OIG, HIPAA and related regulations while coordinating resource development and educational initiatives. A strong background in oncology is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, or PhD with demonstrated ability to lead and coach scientific/medical colleagues.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills; strong professionalism and teamwork.
• Understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA and other ethical guidelines and regulations in pharma.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.
• Previous oncology experience.
