Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5+ years in underwriting/market facing.
• Alternative: 10+ years in claims or underwriting support.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice + Associate Degree with 3+ years in underwriting/market facing.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice + Associate Degree + 8+ years in claims or underwriting support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience handling quotes under time restraints for new/renewal business.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting, analyzing, and generating new and renewal business.
• Market facing and production within the Middle Market Multinational division.
• Administering and monitoring underwriting rules, insurance laws, and rating manual rules.
• Developing and maintaining agency and broker relationships in the East Region.
• Working within broad limits and authorities on highly complex assignments.
