Job summary

Hyatt Centric Chicago The Loop is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager to proactively prospect, facilitate, and close group and catering business opportunities and oversee event execution for the hotel.

The role requires strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills, plus excellent communication, research, and organizational abilities; a valid driver’s license is required. This is a full-time position with OEM Aimbridge Hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year of related sales or catering experience.
• Experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to negotiate with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Attain assigned sales and revenue goals and respond to leads and RFPs within 24 hours.
• Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maximize revenue.
• Prepare and review catering contracts, BEOs, and event orders.
• Develop knowledge of hotel operations and applicable departments.
• Represent hotel at trade shows and client events and maintain community visibility.
