Iambic Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an Associate Medical Director or Medical Director to join its Clinical Development team.

This role will oversee study execution for a phase 1 program and support IND-ready pipelines, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance and scientific integrity. You will contribute to clinical program strategy, act as medical monitor, and collaborate with clinical operations, data management, regulatory sciences, and biostatistics, while engaging with regulators and

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD with oncology clinical experience; PhD with 3+ years biotech/pharma oncology experience.
• Medical monitor experience including patient eligibility review and site interaction.
• Experience with regulatory agency interactions and submission support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the medical monitor for assigned trials, providing medical and scientific expertise.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory sciences, data management and more to ensure high study conduct standards.
• Review AEs/SAEs and protocol deviations; collaborate with pharmacovigilance on safety signals.
• Guide patient eligibility and ensure protocol adherence.
• Prepare study-related documents including protocols, IBs, ICFs and CSRs.
• Review and interpret trial data to ensure accuracy across safety and efficacy data.
• Support regulatory interactions, including document preparation for submissions.
• Establish partnerships with KOLs, centers of excellence, and patient advocacy groups.
• Develop content for advisory boards and meetings.
• Prepare abstracts/presentations for symposia and manuscripts for journals.
• Stay updated on standard of care and experimental therapies through literature and meetings.
