Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Assistant Director, MBA Recruiting & Admissions to lead talent acquisition activities for the Executive MBA programs and to collaborate with the Director of MBA Recruiting and Admissions. The role focuses on attracting, evaluating, and yielding strong candidates to the Executive MBA programs at Texas McCombs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience in talent acquisition activities (recruiting, evaluation, admission, etc).
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal and team skills.
Excellent diplomacy skills to handle complex situations with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to travel.
Proficiency with software and comfort learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

Recruitment Duties (Executive MBA) - Recruit, counsel, and guide prospective Executive MBA candidates through the admissions process, including program requirements, policies, and admissions procedures.
Represent Texas McCombs at Executive MBA recruiting events, information sessions, corporate engagements, and special events.
Lead outreach efforts with companies and community organizations in key markets to increase program awareness and strengthen the candidate pipeline.
Partner with students and alumni to ensure meaningful representation and engagement at recruiting events and admissions activities.
