Risk Placement Services, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Broker / Account Manager for our Executive Lines practice.

You will support a diverse book of business, collaborate with brokers and producers to market accounts, and help deliver innovative insurance solutions across D&O, EPLI, and other lines. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a professional license, and 3+ years in commercial insurance or related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3 years in related field.
• License required.
• Experience in commercial insurance, wholesale brokerage, underwriting, account management, or related insurance discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support an Executive Lines book of business, including new and renewal accounts.
• Partner with brokers and producers to market accounts and develop competitive insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners, underwriters, and key marketplace contacts.
• Prepare submissions, analyze coverage options, and assist in negotiating terms and pricing.
• Coordinate the placement process from submission through binding and policy issuance.
• Review policy documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to client, producer, and carrier inquiries in a timely manner.
• Monitor renewal timelines and proactively manage account activity to ensure service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships and contribute to growth initiatives.
