Texas Children’s Hospital seeks a visionary executive to lead pediatric ambulatory surgery operations within the Texas Children's Physician Organization. You will drive strategy, growth, and operational excellence while partnering with department chairs, leaders, and hospital executives to align clinical priorities with organizational goals.

The role focuses on optimizing access, patient experience, and financial performance across ambulatory services, with emphasis on quality and workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10 years of healthcare administration or related administration experience.
• Within that experience: 5 years of formal management experience and 3 years as a senior leader.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of departmental strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
• Partner with physician leadership to identify growth opportunities and expand services.
• Oversee ambulatory operations to optimize access, scheduling, throughput, and patient experience.
• Provide executive leadership partnership to Department Chairs and Division Chiefs, aligning clinical and operational priorities.
• Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Champion quality, safety, patient experience, and workforce engagement across ambulatory surgery practices.
