Job summary

South Seas Resort is seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead all housekeeping operations across the resort, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and guest satisfaction.

The role oversees guest rooms, resort homes, condominiums, public areas, laundry, and housekeeping administration. It drives budget, quality initiatives, staff development, and cross‑department collaboration to deliver exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in housekeeping leadership, with 3+ years in a Director role.
• Luxury resort or large hotel experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing multiple accommodation types (hotel rooms, villas, residences).
• Strong financial acumen: budgets, labor, forecasting, control.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all housekeeping operations across the resort.
• Oversee rooms, residences, public areas, laundry, and housekeeping admin.
• Develop QA programs, monitor guest feedback, and drive service improvements.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, F&B, and other departments.
• Lead staffing, training, coaching, and succession planning.
