Job summary

Huntsville Utilities seeks a visionary Vice President, Natural Gas and Water to provide strategic leadership, oversee gas and water operations, and align across departments to deliver safe, reliable service. This executive reports to the Chief Operating Officer and guides capital planning, regulatory compliance, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience in natural gas or water utility industries.
• Experience with ADEM or PSC regulatory processes, audits, and reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision to natural gas and water operations.
• Direct engineering, construction, maintenance, and operations for gas and water systems; oversee infrastructure replacement.
• Oversee water treatment and supply operations for reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for growth, modernization, and risk mitigation.
• Manage multi‑million‑dollar operating and capital budgets; oversee financial planning and reporting.
