Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking an executive Vice President of Construction to lead end-to-end delivery of development projects. You will partner with Sales, Operations, Acquisitions, Engineering, and Finance to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and business alignment across regions.

You will direct planning through handoff, establish standards, manage CAPEX, and optimize costs with cross-functional teams while delivering high-value, mission-critical infrastructure at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale, mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience delivering high-value construction projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong experience managing large CAPEX programs and complex contractor relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery across all phases from planning to handoff.
• Oversee construction operations across multiple regions and concurrent projects.
• Drive schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance across the portfolio.
• Establish construction standards, processes, and best practices.
• Build and develop high-performing construction and project management teams.
• Manage resource allocation and workloads across business units.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Own CAPEX budgets, forecasting, financial controls, and reporting.
• Support value engineering while maintaining operational sustainability.
• Partner with Finance and Development to optimize costs and schedules.
• Manage contractor, consultant, and vendor relationships.
• Lead procurement, negotiations, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Operations throughout lifecycle.
• Participate in client-facing activities and support engagements.
• Ensure OSHA, regulatory, permitting, environmental, and quality compliance.
• Lead commissioning and transition to operations teams.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and lessons-learned programs.
