Job summary

The Apollo Theater Foundation, Inc. seeks a General Manager, Campus and Event Operations to lead the institution's operational strategy, revenue generation, and venue management across its historic and new venues in New York City.

This executive will partner with senior leadership to optimize profitability, guest experience, and long-term sustainability while guiding multiple departments through a growth phase.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading comprehensive live events operations and revenue streams.
• Strong financial stewardship with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Proven ability to lead large teams in complex, unionized environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee P&L performance across operational and live events portfolio.
• Lead revenue strategy for earned income channels including rentals, catering, and concessions.
• Provide executive oversight of venue operations, guest experience, production, facilities, and safety.
