SOCOTEC seeks a Senior Principal to provide executive leadership within the Building Envelope practice in New York. This role blends advanced technical expertise with strategic business leadership, guiding complex enclosure projects, client relations, and innovation regionally and nationally.

You will mentor technical staff, shape business strategy, and ensure excellence across project delivery while driving growth and maintaining high standards with a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in building enclosure design, waterproofing, and rehabilitation.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and business development.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and lead the Building Envelope practice growth and market expansion.
• Manage executive-level client relationships and lead complex enclosure projects.
• Oversee technical excellence, project delivery, and quality assurance across engagements.
• Mentor Associates and senior staff; guide recruitment and development.
• Represent SOCOTEC in industry organizations and thought leadership initiatives.
