Job summary

SOCOTEC, a leader in building envelope consulting, seeks a Principal, Building Envelope to provide executive leadership, oversee complex projects, and drive practice growth across the region and beyond, while expanding client relationships.

You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical excellence in façade design, waterproofing, rehabilitation, and commissioning, and collaborate with senior leadership to advance strategy, innovation, and outstanding project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Science, or related field.
• Professional licensure (PE/RA) required.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Business Development: lead planning, identify opportunities, grow the Building Envelope practice.
• Technical Leadership & Project Oversight: provide oversight for building enclosure projects and technical reports.
• Team Leadership & Practice Development: mentor staff, support recruiting and standards across the practice.
• Client Leadership & Project Delivery: build executive relationships, ensure client satisfaction and project success.
