Job summary

Freedom Behavioral is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead the day-to-day execution of our telemedicine services. You will align operational plans with strategic goals and oversee clinical operations, provider management, and technology workflows to support growth.

The role requires extensive experience in healthcare operations, telemedicine, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on accountability and measurable performance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, with responsibility for multi-department or organization-wide operations.
• Experience within telemedicine, behavioral health, healthcare technology, or multi-state healthcare services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the daily operations of Access Serenity’s telemedicine services.
• Translate organizational goals and growth strategies established by the CEO and President into actionable operational plans.
• Establish measurable operational goals, performance expectations, and accountability standards across the organization.
• Monitor KPIs related to patient access, provider productivity, service delivery, scheduling, utilization, and revenue.
• Oversee provider operations, including staffing, scheduling, credentialing coordination, and ongoing operational support.
• Ensure telemedicine services are delivered safely and in accordance with standards of care.
• Develop and monitor standardized operational policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state telehealth requirements, payer requirements, licensing, HIPAA, and internal policies.
