Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director of CGT Quality Systems for Personalized Medicine. You will provide strategic quality leadership across clinical, launch, and commercial CGT programs, aligning with global quality strategy and regulatory expectations.

In this role you will drive risk management, audit readiness, and continuous improvement while mentoring leaders and ensuring patient-centric processes across the end-to-end journey.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• 7+ years in a management/supervisory role or equivalent leadership.
• Broad experience in CGT/cell therapy quality and compliance across lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic Quality Systems leadership for CGT and personalized medicine.
• Lead risk management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Global Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
• Mentor teams and drive executive-aligned quality strategies and governance.
• Ensure end-to-end compliance for patient journey across CGT programs.
