Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. seeks a Senior Director, CGT Quality Systems to lead quality oversight for personalized medicine and advanced CGT programs.

You will drive governance, risk assessment, and continuous improvement across clinical, launch, and commercial stages while partnering with Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Global Quality teams. The role requires strategic influence, executive communication, and a focus on patient-centric outcomes with a hybrid work model and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Broad experience in quality and compliance oversight for CGT or personalized medicine.
• In-depth knowledge of global health authority expectations and GxP.
• Ability to influence decisions with strong communication and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic Quality leadership for CGT programs across clinical to commercial lifecycle.
• Establish governance, risk management, and continuous improvement for patient care.
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure inspection readiness and audits.
• Drive data integrity, CAPA, change controls and management reviews.
