Job summary
Siemens Energy seeks a Head of Gas Turbine Service Engineering for the US region, focusing on rotor, compressor, and casing components. You will provide strategic and technical leadership with 24/7 support for the A-Region fleet and collaborate across regional and global teams to ensure safe, reliable service decisions.
You will drive technical excellence, improve engineering processes, and mentor engineering talent while fostering accountability and a customer-focused culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in gas turbine engineering, service engineering, technical operations, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading engineering, service, or technical teams within a complex industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead SEN EGT CCR-US Service Engineering team for rotor, compressor, and casing components with 24/7 fleet support.
- Serve as Service Component Owner for rotor, compressor, and casing components across the fleet.
- Drive fleet issue resolution, risk assessments, and mitigation for Technical Issues and Significant Field Issues.
- Develop and implement process improvements using standardization and data analytics to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to strengthen knowledge sharing and align service engineering approaches.
