Job summary

The City of New York’s Department of Social Services (DSS) via HRA/DHS is seeking an Executive HRA Project Manager to lead IT portfolio initiatives and high‑level program development. You will guide executive decisions, coordinate with Chief Officers, and drive agency‑wide IT solutions with fiscal oversight.

This role requires an advanced degree or equivalent experience, with substantial executive and supervisory background to ensure policy implementation and program effectiveness across city

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, or JD.
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of professional experience in the described areas; 18 months in executive/managerial capacity.
• Associate degree with 6 years of professional experience as described.
• High school diploma with 8 years of professional experience with executive/managerial exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the HRA portfolio of IT work and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Chief Officers and Deputy Commissioners on budget, program delivery, and interagency coordination.
• Lead IT governance and steering committees for prioritization of IT solutions.
• Advise Administrator on emerging trends in information technology and policy.
• Represent the Administrator in key meetings with city/state partners.
