Job summary

The Director is responsible for planning, budgeting, project management, and aligning IT with county-wide goals, including data and voice networks, server farms, and telecommunications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of management/supervisory experience including budgeting, project management and coordination of enterprise IT work.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT governance as a member of the senior management team.
• Drive IT strategic/operational planning to align with business goals.
• Develop and maintain IT organizational structure to support business needs.
• Set IT goals, objectives and operating procedures.
• Communicate IT vision to executives, department heads and end users.
