Qualifications

• 3+ years of P&C commercial underwriting experience required; Inland Marine preferred.
• Expertise in underwriting construction, transportation, and renewable energy risks preferred.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with agents and brokers.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Energetic self-starter with analytical mindset and time management skills.
• Goal-oriented with ability to challenge the status quo and drive results.

• Analyze and assess underwriting information and complex risk and make recommendations.

• Assist in conducting client meetings/agency calls.
• Develop marketing plans and strategies.
• Cultivate customer and producer relationships to promote Marine products and services.

• Share information to support product development, market research and opportunities.
• Utilize the Marine Center to support sales and service objectives.
• Ensure achievement of financial goals and business plan objectives.
