Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Principal Information Security Technical Communications Consultant to serve as a strategic communications partner within Information Security Services.

You will translate complex technical information into executive-ready communications for senior leaders, board audiences, regulators, employees, and external partners. You will develop reports, talking points, and presentations; work closely with CISO leaders; and manage multiple deliverables while ensuring clarity for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of business experience with five or more years of technical communications.
• Five or more years of experience with support to information delivery solutions, knowledge management, systems, and communication strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly and quarterly reports, board and committee materials, executive talking points, presentations, newsletters, and ad hoc communications
• Translate complex information security topics into clear, relevant messages for nontechnical audiences
• Partner with assigned CISO leaders and build a deep understanding of their organizations, priorities, and technical work
• Participate in leadership discussions, ask clarifying questions, and provide constructive challenge when content is unclear
• Anticipate communication needs and proactively recommend solutions, messaging, and materials
• Manage multiple recurring and ad hoc deliverables, deadlines, stakeholders, decisions, and action items
• Support external cybersecurity industry engagements and related meeting or event materials as needed
