U.S. Bank seeks an Information Security Risk Oversight Professional to provide independent risk oversight across the security program, reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity Risk Oversight.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, evidence-based conclusions, and credible challenge to existing practices. This senior individual contributor will manage an oversight portfolio, test assumptions, and translate technical risks for senior leaders while staying current on threats and regulatory

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of applicable experience in information security, technology risk, audit, engineering, architecture, or risk management
• Ability to independently analyze complex technical and risk information and provide defensible risk insight

• Provide independent oversight across Information Security pillars including governance, risk assessments, controls, and metrics
• Analyze technical designs, security processes, control environments, and evidence to identify gaps and risks
• Formulate independent risk opinions supported by evidence, regulatory expectations, and professional judgment
• Challenge ineffective practices and ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards
• Escalate material risks and communicate risk positions clearly to stakeholders
• Translate complex technical issues into executive-level risk statements and recommended actions
