Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Principal Information Security Technical Communications Consultant to translate complex security topics into clear executive communications. You will develop reports, board materials, and talking points for senior leaders and regulators, partnering with CISOs to understand priorities.

The role requires 10+ years in business with strong technical communications, and advanced writing and PowerPoint skills to craft polished, executive-ready materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of business experience with 5+ years in technical communications.
• 5+ years supporting information delivery solutions, knowledge management, systems and comms strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly and quarterly reports, board materials, executive talking points, presentations and newsletters.
• Translate complex security topics for nontechnical audiences.
• Partner with CISO leaders and understand their priorities and work.
• Participate in leadership discussions and provide constructive challenge.
• Anticipate needs and proactively recommend messaging and materials.
• Manage multiple recurring and ad hoc deliverables and deadlines.
• Support external cybersecurity industry engagements and related materials.
