Custom Mechanical Solutions (CMS) seeks a senior sales executive to join our leadership team as Territory Sales Manager for the Pacific Northwest. This role offers a path to executive leadership and involves shaping CMS’s culture, performance, and growth across WA, OR, and ID.

You will lead multi-market strategy, mentor sales professionals, and drive revenue growth with a focus on large capital projects, developing budgets and incentives with CMS leadership.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of sales leadership experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or construction.
• Proven ability to influence large capital decisions and lead sales teams.
• Strong network in the Pacific Northwest with technical fluency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and refine CMS go-to-market strategy for the Pacific Northwest.
• Evaluate market trends and guide strategic focus across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
• Engage executive stakeholders including general contractors and engineering firms.
• Identify and execute growth initiatives in plan/spec and design-build environments.
• Shape commercial strategy aligned with CMS growth vision and partner goals.
• Lead Sales Engineers and Account Managers with performance and mentorship focus.
• Provide executive coaching and maintain team cohesiveness.
• Recruit, retain, and grow top sales talent to expand territory coverage.
• Develop training programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
