Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Director, Business HR to partner with Presidents and VPs to drive people strategy for assigned client groups. The role bridges HR Centers of Expertise, harmonizes practices, and leads talent management initiatives across workforce strategy, organizational design, and performance management.

The position requires 7+ years in HR, 3+ years in an HR leadership role, strong business acumen, and the ability to coach leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred.
• Professional certifications in HR (e.g., CCP, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) are a plus.
• PM/Change Management/Process Improvement certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
• 7+ years of relevant and progressive experience in Human Resources.
• 3+ years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR leadership role with senior leaders.
• Strong business acumen and analytical thinking to develop and implement HR strategies.
• Customer focus, credibility, adaptability and collaboration to lead diverse teams.
• Ability to coach leaders on performance and talent issues.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusive workplace practices.
• Experience developing broad-reaching strategies and executing tactics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to present proposals and reports.
• Experience using data to derive insights and drive actions.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical reasoning and independent decision-making.
• Proven people management, coaching and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong relationships with executive leaders and co-own talent management strategy.
• Partner to align workforce strategy, organizational design, and performance management with business goals.
• Leverage data and insights to identify root causes and guide actions.
• Translate complex information into clear business insights for decision making.
• Collaborate with HR COEs to optimize program outcomes and ensure compliance.
• Lead and mentor HRBP and other staff; oversee reporting and stakeholder communication.
