Job summary

Halker seeks a Vice President of Human Resources to partner with the CEO and lead the people strategy during a growth phase. The role focuses on building scalable HR systems, workforce planning, and leadership development tailored for engineering and technical talent.

Reporting to the CEO, you will guide performance management, organizational design, and talent processes while advancing equity and incentive programs within a privately held organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive senior HR leadership experience.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on business strategy.
• Experience leading organizational change, workforce planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR operations.
• Experience building or improving HR programs, systems, and infrastructure.
• Experience with phantom equity, synthetic equity, 409A plans, or long-term incentive programs is a plus.

• Design and implement modern performance management aligning accountability with results.
• Optimize a flexible workforce model to match talent with project demand.
• Lead organizational design initiatives to improve structure and team effectiveness.
• Build scalable recruiting strategies to attract engineering and technical talent.
• Coach leaders through organizational change and strengthen leadership capability.
• Partner with ownership to design and administer long-term incentive programs.
• Evaluate compensation, benefits, and total rewards for long-term competitiveness.
• Strengthen HR systems, processes, compliance, and technology for growth.
