Job summary

Concord Hospitality is seeking a Human Resources Director in Raleigh to serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and the hotel’s Executive Committee. You will lead all HR functions to ensure a positive, compliant workplace culture and support staffing and talent development.

As a Concord Leader you will inspire your team, drive workforce plans, oversee recruitment, training, and employee relations, and uphold the Associate First philosophy across the property.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality HR leadership strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and lead with integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies, objectives, and workforce plans that align with hotel and company goals, including budgeting, staffing, and labor management.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for all exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Partner with hotel leadership to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture while serving as a trusted advisor to associates and managers.
• Administer and enforce HR policies, performance management processes, corrective actions, and employee relations programs with fairness and consistency.
• Oversee training and development initiatives, including leadership development, skills enhancement, and compliance-based programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining accurate HR records and HRIS data.
• Manage employee relations matters, workplace investigations, compensation benchmarking, and safety programs to support organizational effectiveness and legal compliance.
