The role requires supervisory experience, hotel background, and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will oversee training, scheduling, and inventory while upholding Highgate Hotel SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree; or a 2-year college degree and related experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Proficiency in Windows and company-approved spreadsheets/word processing.
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation were emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of the Housekeeping Department in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Respond to guest requests, problems and complaints promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Supervise and coach housekeeping staff according to Highgate Hotel SOPs.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Balance room status and coordinate with Engineering and Front Office as needed.
• Support in interviewing staff and maintaining training standards.
