Job summary

Highgate is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping at E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences in Miami, reporting to the Director of Housekeeping. You will oversee daily operations, ensure highest standards of cleanliness, and manage staff performance and budgets.

The role requires 4+ years in housekeeping management, a high school diploma (hospitality/business preferred), and familiarity with Opera PMS, Rex, and HotSOS. Fluency in English is required; Spanish or Creole is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality/business degree preferred.
• 4+ years in housekeeping management, ideally in upscale hotels.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and staff development abilities.
• Excellent guest service and cross-cultural communication.
• Proficiency with hotel systems (Opera, Rex, HotSOS).

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel areas are clean and guest-ready.
• Develop cleaning schedules and control inventory.
• Oversee budget and expenses for housekeeping.
• Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Prepare reports including incidents and accidents.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance needs.
• Conduct pre-shift and monthly staff meetings.
