Job summary

Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina in San Diego seeks an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping operations and ensure exceptional guest environments.

This role requires strong leadership, detailed attention, and ability to coordinate with other departments. Requires 2+ years Rooms Management experience and proficiency in MS Word/Excel; offers strong benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience ( Hyatt preferred).
• Strong service orientation with professional presentation skills.
• Hotel/Hospitality degree is an asset.
• Must be energetic, entrepreneurial, motivational, and a strong communicator.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in short and long term planning of the hotel's Housekeeping operations.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and par levels.
• Teach staff to greet guests and courteously solve requests.
• Maintain the inspection program.
• Ensure safety and security policies are followed.
• Collaborate with all Departments.
• Inspect rooms daily.
• Oversee purchasing of linens and supplies.
• Stay current on housekeeping and laundry technology.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing, delivery and maintenance.
• Mentor multilingual and multicultural staff.
• Ensure OSHA and ADA compliance.
