Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

The Housekeeping Manager leads housekeeping operations to ensure clean, safe, and welcoming guestrooms and public spaces. This role drives quality standards, team performance, inventory control, and guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions

Lead daily housekeeping operations for guestrooms, public areas, and laundry (if applicable).

Hire, train, coach, and schedule housekeeping team members.

Ensure brand cleanliness and presentation standards are met consistently.

Conduct room and public area inspections; provide coaching and quality follow-up.

Manage housekeeping labor, productivity, and staffing to meet occupancy needs.

Oversee inventory, par levels, ordering, and proper use of supplies and linens.

Partner with front office and maintenance to support timely room turns and out-of-order room recovery.

Monitor guest feedback and support action plans to improve cleanliness scores.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and chemical handling standards.

Maintain housekeeping logs, checklists, and department documentation.

Perform other duties as assigned.
