Position Overview:

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all Housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness and quality standards are met across guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities. This role includes managing the Laundry Department and collaborating closely with the maintenance team.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and quality standards in all hotel areas
• Lead and manage all Housekeeping operations, including budgeting, inventory, and policy enforcement
• Develop and supervise team members, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff
• Ensure safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Oversee room readiness and coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance teams
• Manage Laundry operations and equipment maintenance
• Maintain inventory and proper storage of supplies
• Ensure security of storage areas and proper documentation of lost and found items
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and guest rooms to high standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in hospitality
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic math skills
• Leadership ability and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to plan and organize team activities

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Visual and physical dexterity required for cleaning and maintenance tasks

Qualifications:

• Dependability and productivity
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• Minimum six months related experience preferred
• Ability to lead a team of 15 or more employees
