Job summary

Sage-Haus is seeking a proactive, organized household manager/childcare partner to support a busy family in Silver Spring, MD. The role involves managing daily household logistics, meal prep, laundry, and light childcare tasks, with travel 4 times per year.

Flexible half-day schedule is possible around core hours. The position requires CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), a valid US work authorization, a passport, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Maintain a smoke-free environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally with the family.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain organization systems throughout the home, including closets, pantry, kitchen, drawers, and common areas.
• Prepare approximately 3 family dinners per week and healthy after-school meals.
• Wash, fold, organize, and put away family laundry on a near-daily basis.
• School and activity pick-ups and drop-offs; provide light supervision as needed.
• Maintain awareness of children's schedules and coordinate medical/dental appointments.
• Proactively monitor and restock pantry, refrigerator, and household supplies.
• Assist with travel planning and logistics for family trips.
• Take on organizational projects throughout the home, including closets and storage areas.
• Fuel, clean, and organize the family vehicle and track maintenance.
