Job summary
Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland seeks an Executive Host to create personalized guest experiences for high-value players and drive revenue through strong relationship management and loyalty initiatives.
You will engage with premium players on the casino floor, coordinate with departments, and lead promotional programs while maintaining service excellence in a high-energy environment.
Qualifications
- Education and experience in customer service, marketing or hospitality management.
- Two to Five years in customer service, marketing, hospitality management and/or gaming.
- Two to four years’ experience in casino marketing with direct customer contact.
Responsibilities
- Works with Management within budget for premium-rated players and VIP promotions.
- Maintains visibility on the casino floor to meet and greet guests during visits and events.
- Develops trust to ensure guests have a favorable gaming experience.
- Evaluate customer’s play for comping needs.
- Issues comps and complimentary items per property policy.
- Manage and increase rated play.
- Communicate with premium players via telemarketing and written communications about services and events.
- Coordinate communication between guests and departments to ensure satisfaction.
- Implement player promotional plans and programs.
- Review activities with Director/VP of Player Development.

- Works with Management within budget for premium-rated players and VIP promotions.
- Maintains visibility and availability on the casino floor in order to meet and greet guests during individual visits as well as special events.
- Ensure guests have a favorable gaming experience through developing trust and confidence in their player development hosts.
- Evaluate customer’s play for comping needs.
- Issues comps and complimentary items in accordance with property comp matrix, as necessary and authorized.
- Responsible for managing and increasing rated play.
- Communicate with premium/rated players through telemarketing, letter writing about available services, promotional opportunities, and special events.
- Coordinates the lines of communication between guests and other departments to ensure quest satisfaction.
- Coordinates, and implements player promotional plans, processes, and programs.
- Review activities and promotional status with the Director/Vice President of Player Development.
- Meet with departmental director and managers as necessary.
- Supervise Casino Hosts.
- Analytical and critical thinking.
- Problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
- Friendly and welcoming disposition.
- Ability to:
- Perform basic math calculations.
- Maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
- Knowledge of:
- Player Tracking System, AS400, Microsoft Word and E.D.T systems.
- Gaming regulations.
- Professional and business-appropriate appearance.
- Education:
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A four (4) year degree in Marketing, Business, and or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in customer service, marketing, hospitality management and/or gaming.
- Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience in casino marketing, with direct customer contact preferably in the casino or hospitability industry.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
