Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, MD seeks a VIP Host to create memorable experiences for top guests in high‑limit zones and across the casino floor.

You will build relationships, explain rewards, and drive revenue while upholding company policies and compliance. Flexibility with weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in customer service, marketing, hospitality management, and/or gaming.
• Two years of experience in direct interaction with customers.
• Willingness to be flexible with work schedule; extended hours may be required.
• Must obtain and maintain license as mandated by Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Responsibilities

• Interact and build relationships with guests, focusing in higher denomination zones.
• Explain benefits of the Live! Reward Club and encourage enrollment.
• Grow revenues in line with property plan and goals.
• Respond to guest requests and manage complimentary services per policy.
• Develop and sustain personalized guest relationships; monitor activity.
• Make appropriate complimentary decisions for guests per policy.
• Handle and respond to guest complaints to ensure positive outcomes.
• Assist with planning and execution of parties, promotions, events, and tournaments.
• Develop qualified guests to move play to higher denomination zones and monitor activity.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations.
• Extend complimentary in accordance with the comp matrix.

Compensation: $45,000/yr

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Interact and build relationships with guests, concentrating in the higher denomination zones.
• Explain the benefits of the Live! Reward Club and encourage enrollment.
• Grows actual revenues annually, consistent with property plan, and cross‑property goals.
• Respond to guests’ special complimentary requests and adjust based on sound, profitable decisions using the company’s complementary policies.
• Continuously develop and sustain personalized relationships with guests, with increased awareness of such guests’ complimentary use and standing based on company policies.
• Executing the proper complementary decisions for all guests for the use of off‑site sporting suites and event tickets based on companies’ policies. Along with keeping an overall consistent complimentary issuance with the company’s guidelines.
• Handle and respond to guest complaints to ensure a positive outcome.
• Assist with the planning and execution of assigned parties, promotions, special events and tournaments.
• Consistently develop qualified guests to move their play to higher denomination zones and monitor guest activity through use of online systems.
• Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to extend complimentary in accordance with the property comp matrix.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year in customer service, marketing, hospitality management, and/or gaming.
• Two years of experience in direct interaction with customers.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
