Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise the activities of the dietary staff.
• Operate the dietary department in a safe and sanitary manner and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Plan meals in advance and coordinate with the facility dietitian to meet nutritional needs.
• Oversee budgeting for the Dietary Department and manage supplies.
• Provide training and education to staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in QAPI activities.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety standards in the kitchen and service areas.
