Lokal Harvest USA seeks an experienced Head Grower to lead all horticultural operations at our 30-acre High-Tech Hydroponic tomato facility in Early Branch, SC. You will oversee commissioning of climate and fertigation systems, drive crop steering protocols, and shape SOPs while collaborating with executives on expansion design.
Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years in large-scale greenhouse production, with 3–5+ years in a Head Grower role and strong automation expertise to maximize yield and
Formación
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in horticulture, agronomy, or related field; commercial experience accepted.
- 7–10+ years in large-scale greenhouse vegetable production; 3–5+ years as Head/Senior Grower supervising 10+ acres.
Responsabilidades
- Direct commissioning and startup of a 30-acre hydroponic tomato facility.
- Lead agronomic design input for Phase 2 greenhouse expansion.
- Manage crop steering, climate optimization, and nutrient programs.
- Oversee IPM, safety, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
