Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for a high-volume, upscale Baltimore operation. The GM will lead 150+ staff across 400+ seats, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance in a complex dining environment.

This role offers a base salary of $130,000–$150,000 with quarterly bonuses, relocation assistance for the right candidate, and comprehensive benefits. Five-day workweek and strong growth opportunities evident throughout.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Restaurant General Manager in upscale/high-volume settings.
• Proven success leading large teams in multi-area dining operations.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership, budgeting, and cost controls.
• Experience with private dining, events, and multiple service venues is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to uphold service culture and standards.
• Oversee front-of-house operations across all dining formats and events.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop management teams and staff.
• Maintain elevated guest experiences while controlling labor and costs.
• Partner with Executive Chef on menu execution and cost management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating planning.
• Conduct performance reviews and build a strong leadership team.
• Lead meetings and establish clear objectives and accountability.
