Job summary

The Court of Administrative Hearings (CAH) seeks a General Counsel to lead the Office of General Counsel, report to the Executive Team, and supervise in-house attorneys. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role guiding legal work that supports CAH’s judicial functions.

You will provide executive-level advice, manage litigation, oversee data practices, serve as Ethics Officer, and liaison with the Legislature, Governor’s Office, and external partners while shaping policy and rules.

Qualifications

• Executive-level advice and litigation management for the court.
• Ethics Officer for the court.
• Data Practices Compliance Official oversight.
• Liaison to the Legislature, Governor’s Office, Executive Branch agencies, and other external stakeholders.
• Legal analysis across specialized, complex areas.
• Advice on court policies, procedures, and data practices compliance and requests.
• Guide development and review of proposed legislation and administrative rules.

Responsibilities
