Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to routinely lead and manage teams and programs for Executives.

You will provide guidance on strategy, monitor execution, and coordinate initiatives using process and project management, QDM principles and analytics. In this role, you will partner with finance leadership, drive efficiency and profitability, design innovative solutions, and serve as a liaison across departments and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; 7+ years in project/operational leadership.
• Experience applying QDM principles.
• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact across levels.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Ability to prepare and present reports.
• Experience leading project teams and guiding initiatives.
• Ability to build relationships across the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams/projects/programs for Executives.
• Provide guidance to Finance leadership on strategy and execution.
• Drive strategic process improvements and collaborate on new tech solutions.
• Identify improvement initiatives to enhance efficiencies and profitability.
• Design and implement innovative solutions for complex situations.
• Act as liaison between departments, operations, and customers.
• Review contracts from sales, procurement and other areas to mitigate risk.
• Lead initiatives ensuring minimal impact during organizational changes.
• Develop tools to improve people, service, and profit metrics.
• Communicate policies, procedures, and budgets across field and corporate.
