Job summary

Baylor Genetics is seeking an AVP, Financial Planning and Analysis to lead Corporate FP&A, the FP&A systems and BI function, and to establish disciplined planning, forecasting, and reporting processes across the organization.

The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and management reporting, while governing Adaptive Planning and developing Tableau-based financial dashboards for standardized KPI visibility.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, including 7+ years in management.
• Experience leading enterprise budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and management reporting.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams and partner effectively with senior executives.
• Experience overseeing enterprise planning systems and business intelligence/reporting capabilities.
• Advanced financial modeling, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, monthly performance management, scenario analysis and executive financial reporting.
• Establish and manage a disciplined FP&A operating cadence with forecast reviews and management reporting.
• Provide financial leadership and decision support to the VP of FP&A, CFO and senior leadership through clear analysis of performance and trends.
• Lead, develop and organize a high-performing FP&A team with accountability and development.
• Oversee FP&A systems strategy and governance, including Adaptive Planning maintenance and upgrades.
• Lead the build-out and continuous improvement of Tableau dashboards and BI reporting for KPIs.
• Establish data governance across FP&A systems and dashboards with a single source of truth.
• Partner with Operations FP&A, Commercial Finance, Accounting and data teams to align assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
• Drive automation and process improvements across planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics.
• Support Board, investor and IPO-readiness requirements through robust financial analysis.
