Job summary

Hireology seeks a Food and Beverage Director to oversee kitchen, restaurant, bar, banquet and catering operations, focusing on quality, staff management, and inventory control to meet brand standards and revenue goals. You will lead a high-volume team, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and compliance across departments.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to optimize menus and vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management plus three years of related supervisory experience.
• Advanced knowledge of food service regulations.
• Must be able to stand for 7-8 hours per shift in extreme temperatures.
• Fluent English; strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement restaurant, banquet, catering, and other culinary experiences.
• Delegate responsibility for operations of various F&B sub-departments (catering, restaurant, banquet, kitchen).
• Prepare and monitor annual budget, revenue goals and expenses for the F&B department; generate forecasts.
• Review financial reports and adjust as needed to improve performance.
• Monitor market conditions affecting menu offerings, volume, and profitability.
• Manage menu creation with pricing to support bottom-line goals.
• Research vendor options and maintain beneficial vendor relationships.
• Conduct inventory procedures to determine minimum and maximum stock levels.
