Job summary

Highgate Hotels seeks a Director of Food & Beverage to lead all property F&B operations, ensuring profitability, quality, and guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, forecast demand, and align with brand standards through collaboration with the Executive Committee.

The role requires strong leadership, cost control, liquor-law knowledge, and the ability to train department heads on SOPs while maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in hotel or related field experience; or equivalent degrees with experience
• 5 years of F&B leadership in multi-outlet and banquet environments
• Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing
• Knowledge of F&B prep techniques, health dept. rules and liquor laws
• Long hours may be required
• Ability to supervise, forecast and manage budgets

Responsibilities

• Supervise all F&B personnel.
• Prepare the F&B budget and monitor performance.
• Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in F&B.
• Interview candidates for front-of-house F&B positions.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and health regulations.
• Attend hotel trainings and meetings and report to management.
