Job summary

The Boeing Company in San Antonio, TX seeks Experienced Electrical Repair and Modification Technicians to join the Executive Fleet team. You will perform wiring harness work, connector terminations, component installations, and on-aircraft inspections, reading engineering drawings and technical orders to guide modifications.

Candidates should have 10+ years in electrical/electronic theories and avionics, experience with schematics and installation, and FAA certification in Airframe/Powerplant

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems.
• 10+ years of experience with schematics, specifications, drawings and SOPs.
• 10+ years of experience with component and wire installation including repair, modification, testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime.
• FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant (preferred).
• Active US Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modifications and repairs.
• Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring.
• Perform assembly, installation, and inspection of wire bundles and electrical assemblies on aircraft.
• Troubleshoot organizational and depot maintenance level malfunctions in aircraft electrical and comms/nav-systems.
