Job summary

The Boeing Company in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Associate Structures Repair and Modification Technician to join our Executive Fleet team. You will perform close tolerance drilling, removal, and installation on critical aircraft structures, reading engineering drawings and retrofit requirements to execute structural repairs.

Candidate must have 4+ years in metalworking with aluminum, titanium, and stainless, plus experience with depot level maintenance and heavy structures; ability to work

Qualifications

• 4+ years with non-porous metals (aluminum, titanium, stainless).
• 4+ years reading schematics, specs, assembly drawings.
• 4+ years using structures hand tools and drilling equipment.
• 4+ years working with heavy structures (doublers, stringers, webs, seat tracks) on aircraft.
• Ability to work variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform drilling, reaming, removal, and installation to critical structures and fracture critical areas.
• Read engineering drawings and retrofit requirements to perform structural modifications and repairs.
• Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.
• Maintain necessary certifications and participate in safety protocols.
