Job summary

ASM Tech Solutions is seeking a General Superintendent for commercial construction in Belmont, CA. This on-site, full-time role leads field operations, ensures safety and policy compliance, and drives project execution across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include directing field teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and monitoring costs and craft performance. Requires 10+ years in similar roles, OSHA 30, and strong drawing interpretation skills; travel to jobsites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Experience with tenant improvements, ground-up, renovations, life science, and similar commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Ability to lead and develop large field teams.
• Extensive knowledge of drawings interpretation (civil/structural/architectural).
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects; scheduling and production analysis.
• Proficient in MS Office, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other CM software.
• Current OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, with strong follow-through.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field construction operations and visit jobsites.
• Chair monthly field team meetings.
• Oversee warehouse operations for materials, tools, and supplies.
• Attend preconstruction, OAC, PM, and leadership meetings.
• Review plans, specs, and contracts with Superintendents.
• Monitor costs, labor budgets, and productivity metrics.
• Lead field teams and oversee subcontractor performance for safety and quality.
