Job summary

Grandview HealthCare Center is seeking an Administrator to lead and supervise all facility operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high-quality resident life.

The role requires a Connecticut Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, strong management experience, and the ability to develop and implement policies, supervise staff, and manage budgets. On-call duties may apply as per state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Five years of relevant management experience.
• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Connecticut per Public Health Code.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret facility goals and procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills in dealing with residents, staff and agencies.
• Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain facility objectives and standards with owner's input/agreement.
• Initiate and assist in developing, implementing and coordinating facility and departmental policies and procedures.
• Appoint medical, nursing and other staff with governing body approval; assign in writing a responsible person to act in his absence.
• Interpret and communicate policies and procedures to personnel, residents, visitors and families as necessary.
• Review and maintain facility policies, manuals and descriptions at least annually and initiate changes.
• Oversee administrative requirements and maintain records and reports as required.
