Job summary

Green Top Farms is seeking an Events & Hospitality Manager to own the floor's events from intake to execution. This hands-on role involves leading a team in cold prep, platter presentation, and high-visibility service for executive guests.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in catering or hospitality, strong organizational and communication skills, and comfort interacting with senior leaders. NYC Food Handler’s certificate or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in catering, hospitality, or food service, including supervising a team.
• Experience planning events, intake, scheduling, ordering, and staff coordination.
• Hands-on in cold food production and platter/presentation skills.
• Comfortable with senior executives and external visitors.
• NYC Food Handler's Certificate, or willingness to obtain one within the first month.

Responsibilities

• Own the request-to-execution process for events on the floor.
• Coordinate with hosts to confirm scope, headcount, timing, menu, dietary needs, AV.
• Manage daily event schedule and communicate with staff and kitchen.
• Lead prep and assembly of platters, boards, sandwiches, salads.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, and materials; manage spend and waste.
• Greet executives and guests with professionalism; maintain room readiness.
