Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.
• Master's Degree required, or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Emergency Department leadership at Manager/Senior Manager/Director level.
• Proven ability to lead ED operations, staffing, budgeting, and quality initiatives.
• Strong understanding of emergency services regulations and accreditation standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all Emergency Services functions.
• Lead departmental staffing, workforce planning, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Drive initiatives focused on patient experience, quality outcomes, throughput, and operational efficiency.
• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team, including managers, coordinators, and charge nurses.
• Partner with physicians, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to advance departmental and organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, EMTALA, OSHA, state requirements).
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and patient-centered care.
